Terms & Conditions

Once a booking is accepted by Baseline Consulting a contract is made between Baseline and the customer whereby Baseline will provide the training course specified (on the booking form) subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

In these terms and conditions “Baseline” means Mr. & Mrs. B Taylor trading as Baseline Consulting of Trelawn House, 34 North Bar, Banbury, OX16 0TH.

  1. The customer shall be entitled to terminate the booking by giving written notice to Baseline provided that in the event of such termination the customer shall be liable to pay the following charge to Baseline:
    if notice is received by Baseline more than 14 days before the course is due to begin - no
        charge;
    if notice is received by Baseline less than 14 days but more than 7 days before the course is
       due to begin - 50% of the basic course fee;
    if notice is received by Baseline less than 7 days before the course is due to begin - 100% of   basic course fee.
    Baseline shall be entitled to amend, cancel or transfer bookings by service of written notice to the customer provided that in the event of cancellation, an alternative date for the course shall be offered.

  1. In consideration for the provision of the course the customer shall pay Baseline the basic fees for the course as specified on the booking form.  Unless otherwise agreed in writing by Baseline all course fees are calculated on the basis of four delegates and include the cost of course documentation.  In addition to the basic course fees, the customer shall pay for the installation of software (£30.00 per course where applicable) and travel calculated at the rate of 32 pence per mile where the course takes place more than 40 miles from Banbury or 35 pence per mile plus £20.00 per hour where the course takes place more than 70 miles from Banbury.  Additional delegates will be charged at £50.00 per delegate.

  2. Subject to any payment terms agreed in writing by Baseline, all course fees shall be payable in full within 30 days after the date a course begins.

  3. If the customer fails to make payment by the due date, Baseline shall be entitled to charge interest at the rate of 3% per annum above the base-lending rate of Barclays Bank Plc (as varied from time to time) until payment is made.

  4.  Any provisional bookings accepted by Baseline shall be subject to these terms and conditions save that such booking shall be deemed to have been cancelled by the Customer if the Customer has not confirmed the booking in writing within 48 hours after the provisional booking.

  5. The customer shall be responsible for ensuring that the details shown on the booking form, including the number of delegates, course outlines and location, are correct.  Baseline reserves the right to alter the content of any course if it considers it appropriate.  In the event that the customer changes any of the details of the booking, Baseline shall be entitled to cancel the course and re-quote for running the course with the amended details.

  6. The copyright in all course documentation belongs to Baseline unless expressly stated otherwise.  The customer shall not be entitled to reproduce the course documentation in whole or in part without the prior written permission of Baseline.

  7. Baseline shall have no liability to the Customer for any indirect or consequential loss of the Customer arising out of or in connection with this contract.
