Introduction
This highly participatory course is designed for delegates at all levels
who are responsible for delivering formal or informal presentations. This
course is delivered over two days, plus a further day’s reinforcement 1 –
3 months later (Optional).
Special considerations: The course uses video review to reinforce
instruction. Numbers are restricted to 6 delegates to ensure maximum
individual attention.

Duration: This course runs for a full two days; 09:00 to 17:00

You will not need any previous experience.
What
is covered?
By the end of the course, the delegates will have:
• Considered how the brain receives, interprets and stores spoken messages
• Understood the differences between Presentation and Conversation in
terms of the spoken word
• Understood the importance of, and practised Pausing when using the
spoken word
• Understood the importance of, and practised making Eye-contact when
using the spoken word
• Understood the causes of nervousness and how to control nerves
• Learnt and practised a method of designing effective spoken messages
• Learnt and practised how to make and use effective speaking notes
• Learnt how to design effective visual aids
• Learnt and practised how to use visual aids to best effect
• Learnt and practised how to handle Question & Answer sessions
During the course delegates will deliver two presentations to their fellow
delegates, one without visual aids and the other supported by visual aids.
